The Thousand Islands Life Foundation

The Thousand Islands Life Foundation is a not-for-profit organization. Its mission is to foster a sense of community identity for the international Thousand Islands region, to support civic purposes, and to recognize excellence of performance that advances the quality of the region.

The Thousand Islands Foundation views its regional goal to be more than economic development. It values the environmental quality and culture of the region as its principle assets, recognizing that conservation and preservation stimulate economic development.

The Thousand Islands Foundation encourages good project design and planning to respect and harmonize with the unique qualities of the Thousand Islands region.
