Thousand Islands Life

Thousand Islands Life is a project of the Thousand Islands Life Foundation. This presentation conveys aspects of the region of the St. Lawrence River, extending from Lake Ontario, between Cape Vincent, New York and Kingston, Ontario, to the Three Sisters Islands, between Brockville, Ontario and Morristown, New York. 

Thousand Islands Life is intended to foster a sense of regional community within this region. The purpose of the presentation is less to attract tourists to the region, since other organizations serve that purpose.  Our need for an enhanced sense of community seems even greater now than in the past, since recent security measures at the international border have impeded cross-river exchange.

Thousand Islands Life may inform permanent residents and regular visitors of the array of resources available for all to share. We celebrate the beauty, life style, and unique character of the Thousand Islands.
