Patty Mondore’s “A Bird Lover’s Reflections: A 90 Day Devotional and Journal for People Who Love Birds”

North Wind Publishing (Belfast, Maine) releases Patty Mondore’s newest book, “A Bird Lover's Reflections: A 90-Day Devotional and Journal for People Who Love Birds.” The book is the third in a series of devotionals that North Wind has released by Patty Mondore, and written for those who love nature and the outdoors.

From hummingbirds to herons, raptors to wrens, common loons to cormorants, and bald eagles to bluebirds, if you love bird-watching you will love “A Bird Lover's Reflections.”

Each of Patty’s 90 daily meditations starts with a fun tidbit about a particular species of bird. It also includes one of her bird photos, a passage to read from the Scriptures, a short devotional, and a place to jot down your own thoughts and reflections.

Patty was first introduced to “TI Life” by the late Paul Malo when the two met for book signings at the Cornwall Bros. Museum in Alexandria Bay.  In fact, Patty wrote a beautiful tribute to Paul, after he died in July 2008.

Since then Patty has been a regular contributor with “Wings Like Eagles” (Dec. ‘13) and “Songs of the Night” (October ‘14) featuring her magical wildlife photographs.  Her “Songs of the Night” article features a number of videos with magnificent loon calls.

“A Bird Lover’s Reflections” is a third in the series River Reflections: A 90-Day Devotional and Journal for People Who Love the Water, followed by Nature Reflections: A 90-Day Devotional for People Who Love Nature.

Patty is also a contributing writer for the Thousand Islands Sun. Her column, "River-Lations", appears in the “Vacationer.” throughout the summer months.
