"I am quite honored and thank you in advance for the opportunity to submit so many to the magazine, I enjoy reading through it each month and recognize so many of the names and places you mention in it. The combination of photos and articles each month, brings such a smile to my face while reading it over here, as it enables me to see so much of “home”, from afar. I have enjoyed Ian Coristine’s work over the years and own many of his publications. as I am currently working in Macau, China and miss the Islands greatly so follow local “hometown” papers and articles religiously."
"As I now spend so much time travelling the world and away from Hill Island, I really miss those quiet moments in the Islands, on the water and hiking the backwoods, as well as the never ending abundance of photo moments. Having spent every summer of my childhood in the Islands, there was no question of where I would eventually live and no matter where on the globe I am today, I can still close my eyes, turn 360* and “see” the St. Lawrence and all its beauty. (Retirement in the Islands will one day be amazing and every photographers dream – one day! Ha, ha)."
